- Dr. Richard Cohen
Dr. Richard CohenDr. Cohen received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his Orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Cohen is the founder and Medical Director of the WellStar Health System Total Joint Restoration Center in Marietta, GA. He is also a founding member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Founder and Chairman of the WellStar Health System Ethics Committee. Dr. Cohen is active in his community and currently serves as Chairman, Board of Georgia Health Decisions and Vice-Chairman, Board United States Anti-doping Agency. In addition to his role on Accelero Health Partners Physician Advisory Board, Dr. Cohen also serves as a Zimmer Educational Consultant.

Dr. Dana Mears
Dr. Mears is currently Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center He received his medical degree from the University of Oxford, Oxford, England and completed his residency at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, England and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mears also earned a PhD in Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England. He has considerable academic and scientific experience in England and the United States and is currently a reviewer of several Orthopaedic journals. Dr. Mears has also held numerous international and national appointments related to testing and design of surgical implants/medical devices and instrumentation. He developed the two-incision technique for small-incision Total Hip Replacement. At UPMC Shadyside Hospital Dr. Mears has assembled a team of pain management specialists, nurses and therapists to create a Rapid Recovery Unit for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
- Dr. Robert W. Murphy
Dr. Robert W. MurphyDr. Murphy is a 35-year board certified Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Total Joint Replacement Surgery. He founded Desert Orthopedic Center in Rancho Mirage, California, a 15 physician subspecialty orthopedic group. He served as its chairman, and managing partner for over 30 years. In addition to receiving his medical degree from Kansas University and completing his surgical residency at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Murphy earned a Masters Degree in Healthcare Services Management from the School of Public Health at UCLA. He has had held several academic positions, published and presented papers, and is currently Chairman, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Eisenhower Medical Center and serves as a member of its Board of Trustees.
- Dr. Thomas Muzzonigro
Dr. Thomas MuzzonigroDr. Muzzonigro is a partner in Tri-Rivers Surgical Associates and practices solely at Butler Memorial Health System in Pittsburgh, PA. His practice focuses on surgery of the knee and hip to include total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty, and revision knee arthroplasty. Dr. Muzzonigro graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine with distinction in Orthopaedic research and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Orthopaedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
- Dr. Jeffrey Pierson
Dr. Jeffrey PiersonDr. Pierson currently practices at St. Francis Medical Group-Joint Replacement Surgeons in Indianapolis, Indiana. His practice is limited to hip and knee replacement. Dr. Pierson was Fellowship trained in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and obtained his medical degree at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He has considerable expertise in developing joint replacement centers of excellence, process improvement and operating room efficiency
- Dr. Jeffrey Kerina
Dr. J. Mandume Kerina
Dr. Kerina is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon who received his medical degree at the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine in New York. He is also fellowship trained in both reconstructive surgery as well as adult spine surgery. Dr. Kerina is Founder and currently President of Tri-County Orthopaedic Center. He currently serves as the Vice Chief, Department of Orthopedics at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. Dr. Kerina is also Co-founder of the Optum Practice Management OPM Medical Foundation Program. The educational program encompasses an on-line and in-person training module designed specifically for new surgeons who require a more thorough understanding of the business side of the orthopaedic enterprise. More recently, Dr. Kerina has perfected a protocol for delivering unicompartmental knee replacement in an outpatient setting. He recently presented this topic at a Zimmer Regional Sales Course Meeting in April, 2011.
